Overview

Trattoria Al Ponte (Longa), nestled in the heart of Via Peraro, 86, offers an authentic taste of Thai cuisine blended subtly with Italian hospitality. This intimate, family-run restaurant captures the essence of Thailand through its vibrant, carefully crafted dishes, making it a rare gem in the Alto Vicentino area.

Visitors like Simone Sarzo, who spent years in Thailand, attest to the genuine flavors and aromatic profiles that transport diners straight to the bustling streets of Bangkok and regional Thai provinces. The menu’s star is undoubtedly the Pad Thai, praised for its generous portions and striking balance between sweetness, sourness, and spice. Alongside, delicate dumplings and local specialties underscore the kitchen’s dedication to preserving true Thai culinary traditions.

The space itself is unpretentious yet welcoming, favoring a simple, cozy atmosphere that reflects the down-to-earth approach of its hosts. This small-scale setting allows for a personalized experience, where the friendly, attentive staff make each guest feel like part of an extended family. Such warmth complements the food’s rich textures and aromas, enriching every visit.

Its dual offering of Thai and Italian dishes caters to diverse palates, making it an ideal spot for groups with eclectic tastes or for those curious to explore beyond familiar cuisines. The inclusion of Italian classics also speaks to the restaurant’s embrace of local culture without sacrificing its distinctive Thai identity.

Though wait times may lean towards the longer side, patrons recognize this as a necessary mark of quality and genuine preparation rather than mere delay. The restaurant’s reasonable pricing completes the experience, providing excellent value for a unique culinary journey.

Overall, Trattoria Al Ponte (Longa) stands out as a destination for food lovers seeking authenticity and warmth. Whether one is craving a genuine Thai feast or a comforting Italian meal, this restaurant offers an inviting refuge where passion and tradition harmonize beautifully.

Signora davvero gentile e disponibile.

I ravioli semplicemente squisiti.
